RCIA
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
RCIA is a program to prepare individuals who are interested in the Catholic faith. Whether you have been baptized in another tradition, or you have never been baptized, RCIA is a way for you to learn more about the Catholic Faith to see if this is where God is calling you in your faith journey.
The program runs from September through May. We meet from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm in the Linden House every Monday. We have a variety of speakers, so that you can experience the richness of the faith though their different perspectives.
The high point is the Easter Vigil, at which those participants who are ready and who desire full communion with the church are welcomed by baptism (if not already baptized), confirmation, and the Eucharist.
Note: These weekly sessions are also open to Catholics who simply wish to learn more about their faith. Even if you’re a long-time parishioner, please feel free to strengthen your faith life by attending some RCIA sessions during the year!
